King’s College Hospital is a teaching hospital on the Denmark Hill campus of King’s College London. It is a recognised world leader in research and management of people with diabetes and foot complications. The Diabetic Foot Clinic at King’s was established in 1981. It is one of the world’s first multidisciplinary diabetic foot clinics and is widely accepted as an ideal model of care. The high quality of work of the diabetic foot team has led to several King’s College Hospital Commendation Awards for outstanding contribution to patient care and many national and international awards.
