Prof. Uwe Kersting is a specialist in assessing musculoskeletal injuries, their prevention and rehabilitation using advanced biomechanical techniques. He has managerial and research experience within the governmental funding systems of New Zealand, Denmark and Germany (>1.2 Mio €), and acquired several footwear-related industrial projects and private foundations (>1 Mio €). He has main/co supervised 13/8 PhD and >50 MSc projects. He is acting HoD at GSU and leads a research group of 9 post docs and PhDs.
