Novel-people

Dipl.-Ing. Peter Seitz received his Diploma Engineers degree in Cybernetics from the Technical University of Munich (TUM). He developed with the Tokoport the first mobile system for monitoring of labour pain contractions. After this he was the PI in a project for the development of the first electronic system for dynamic pressure distribution measurement funded by the German Federal Ministry for Research and Technology (BMFT). Based on this he built the company Novel and made it the reference for systems for measuring accurate load distributions. He also has a strong link to the users of the Novel systems worldwide, as the CEO he has a deep inside into business management, including protection of IP and entrepreneurship.

Dr. Axel Kalpen received his PhD in physics from the Humboldt University in Berlin. He works in the Novel biomechanics lab since 1994 and is working since that time as the contact person in-between scientific and medical users and product development.

Dr. Ahmad Dahrouj received his PhD in biomechanical engineering from the University of Dundee in Scotland in 2011. Since 2013 he works in the Novel sensor development. He has a deep knowledge about sensor technology, electronics development in the aspects of hardware and firmware development.

Dipl.-Phys. Manfred Geuder received his degree from the Friedrich Alexander University in Erlangen and works since 1985 mainly in the sensor development at Novel, but has also a deep knowledge about the electronic interfaces for the capacitive sensors and knows well about the problems of diabetic foot disease.
