Prof. dr. Kirsten Lomborg

Prof. dr. Kirsten Lomborg, PhD, MSc, RN is a senior researcher at SDCC and holds a clinical professorship at the University of Copenhagen. Her research focus is person-centred diabetes care, including shared decision-making, self-management support, care and support planning, and the use of patient reported outcome measure in clinical practice. Professor Lomborg’s publication list includes numerous scientific articles, tutorials, and textbooks chapters. She has extensive teaching and supervision experience, is a frequent conference speaker, and has served on numerous advisory boards and assessment committees. Long_Bio

Dr. Dorte Vistisen

Dr. Dorte Vistisen, PhD, MSc, is senior researcher at SDCC and holds an associate professorship at the University of Copenhagen. She is leading a research group of 15-20 people in diabetes epidemiology at SDCC and is chair of the European Diabetes Epidemiology Group (EDEG) under EASD. A/Professor Vistisen has worked with diabetes epidemiology for more than 20 years and her research focus is on heterogeneity in disease development and on prediction models for diabetes and diabetes-related complications. She has published well over 100 scientific articles in peer-reviewed journals and has supervised several PhD students. Long_Bio
