WP2 – Train
The training of doctoral candidates is obviously an important part of any Doctoral Network. The Train workpackage of DIALECT aims to provide the appointed doctoral candidates with well-balanced and high-quality training and networking that equips them as the next generation of scientific leaders in personalised medicine in diabetic foot disease in academia and industry. This means we aim to provide an innovative network-wide research training that enables doctoral candidates to connect, extend and develop ideas and concepts from a broader disciplinary, cultural, and sector perspective. We will do this by providing intersectoral secondment training that enables doctoral candidates to broaden, contextualise, and apply ideas, concepts and skills in a different sector, but also to provide “future work skills” training to develop core competencies to thrive and forge a career path in the field of diabetic foot disease or related fields.
Prof. dr. Hans Savelberg from Maastricht University is the training coordinator of DIALECT.
